(And everybody falls into these 2 categories at one time or another... we need to be deceptive to avoid or gain something, and we usually only do it when we believe we can get away with it--think Bill Clinton.) And actually a pre-meditated deception can be easier to spot than one that's impromtu... but you do have to know a few tricks. Undercover? No acting classes, but we did train for it deeply.
